Thomas Warren is a a 72-year old male who presents to the office with complaints of a mole on his right shoulder. Patient first noticed the mole about 3-4 months ago. He states it has changed in size, color, and shape. Borders are asymmetrical, mole is 4mm in diameter. The mole catches on his clothes when he is getting dressed and is itchy per patient. Over the last two months, the mole has becoming more scaly in appearance. The patient states the mole is not painful, and has not noticed any bleeding or oozing to site. The patient worked as a farmer and reports a history of sunburns, sun exposure, and chemical exposure over the years. Patient has a 80-year smoking history, and a family history of cancer.
