Description
This exam is worth a total of 200 points. Total points earned are determined by the student’s percentage score on the APEA Pre Predictor Exam. For example, if the student earns 80% on the exam, the total points earned will be 160/200.
Preparing for the Exam
Follow these guidelines when completing each component of the assignment. Contact your course faculty if you have questions.
- Technical Requirements: Please ensure your computer or device meets the following technical requirements to complete the APEA Pre Predictor Examination.
- Google Chrome: The APEA Pre Predictor Exam must be completed using Google Chrome. Set your default browser to Google Chrome (https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95417? hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop) before taking the exam.
- Proctorio: The APEA Pre Predictor Exam requires Proctorio. Download and install the Proctorio Google Chrome plugin (https://getproctorio.com/) on your computer before taking the exam. Please visit Proctorio Support or review the documents below for assistance:
- Academic Integrity
- The exam is closed book, no resources may be
- Complete an environmental scan and display a student ID. Rotate the camera (or laptop) 360 degrees to capture the entire workspace. Visibly demonstrate that there are no phones, people, books, within view. The environment scan is required and not optional. If the environment scan is not completed (or done incompletely) it will be deemed an Academic Integrity Violation.
- Upload the exam results. Students who take the correct exam but do not upload results by 11:59 PM MT on Sunday of Week 5 will earn a 10% penalty (20 points) per day up until 3 days. A zero will be earned after 3 days.
- Failure to take the exam without using Proctorio may result in a zero on the exam.

- Taking the Exam
- Navigate to the APEA OTC website (https://apeaotc.com/Login) and log in.
- Complete the Allow ample time to complete the 3-hour exam and submit the completion certificate prior to the deadline.
