Description
CB is a 76-year-old female with a history of chronic kidney disease, hypertension and peptic ulcer disease caused by ibuprofen use, who presents with complaints of chronic bilateral knee pain that is affecting her ability to complete activities of daily living. Patient is obese. Physical exam significant for limited range of motion and crepitus of both knees. A small effusion was noted in the right knee and the medial joint line of both knees were tender to palpation. She was unable to rise from chair without the use of her upper extremities. Blood pressure elevated despite medication compliance.
