For this course you have been working on all the required components of your research paper. Now you will write the final draft of the paper on technology and its effects on lawmaking and ethics in behavioral health, using the feedback you received on your rough draft.

Part 1- Topic and Thesis Statement due in Topic 1 Part 2- Annotated Bibliography due in Topic 3

Part 3- Rough Draft of research paper due in Topic 5

Part 4- Final Draft of research paper due in Topic 7

For Topic 7, use the feedback you received from the instructor on your rough draft to write the final draft of the paper (1,250-1,500 words) by addressing the following:

• Explain the effects of your selected topic on lawmaking and ethics in behavioral health.
  Describe an ethical dilemma that could arise from the topic you selected. Note: It is acceptable to get inspiration for this dilemma from the textbook if needed; you must create your own dilemma, not simply revisit one from the text.
• Discuss what ethical boundaries are relevant in the situation and the importance of maintaining those boundaries.
• Explain the ethical decision-making process if your ethical dilemma did arise. Frame the process around your dilemma when discussing each of the ethical decision-making steps that a paraprofessional must complete.
• Cite a minimum of four to six scholarly sources in the paper.

Substance Use and Disorders Program Students:

Create your ethical dilemma and ethical decision-making steps as it relates to substance use and addictions. Resources specific to substance use are included in the Topic 4 resources.

Cite a minimum of three to five scholarly sources in the paper.
