Description
TB, 33yr old female in office for right flank pain. Hx recurrent UTIs chlamydia infection. She reports right flank pain started yesterday morning and became severe by afternoon. She also reports fever of 100.2F, nausea x3-4 episodes, vomiting x1 episode, decreased appetite, and burning with urination. She reports nothing alleviates right flank pain, but eating or drinking orange juice make it worse. She reports right flank pain as constant, 8/10 achy pain. She denies hematuria, denies new sexual partners. Her medications include birth control – Tri-Cyclen 28 – daily and OTC acetaminophen for fevers.
Physical exam reveals temperature 100.2F orally, right CVA tenderness on palpation, mild suprapubic tenderness.
